Has anyone else had the experience of Foxtons finding a buyer, agreeing a price,telling you they had a mortgage offer & then coming back and saying the buyer's bank's surveyor won't value the property at the agreed price? Wondering if this is legitimate or a way of bargaining me down on price. (Price has already been reduced to match other recent sales in area with other agencies).
