Foxtons is the only exempt of using 0843 numbers on FAP

Did anybody else noticed that every agent had to change their contact phone number to a 0843 number on FAP, saying that this way they can keep track of the calls, but obviously they are making money on people calling agencies.
Long time ago I realised that Foxtons didn't need to change the numbers. At the time ( about 2 months ago) I contacted FAP customer service about it, and they said that they change manually the numbers, so it takes time, and other agents still have the same 0208 number. And they were right, about 1 in 30 still had it.
Today I checked again, and it seems like everyone has the 0843 number now except.... guess who: Foxtons. So I called customer services again, and the y told me every agency now has switched to 0843. When I mentioned Foxtons, se was like, " Oh Foxton has signed a different agreement than you or everybody else, Foxton is different ". And when I said , "Yeah we all know that Foxton is different :-) " she transferred me to a " Department dealing with the issue" where noone - of course - picked up the phone.

Other Agents care, because applicants think Foxtons number is cheaper than the 0845 numbers and so if a property is listed with several agents, they are more likely to call the cheaper number !
Well done all Agents for hassling FAP to get this changed !
