Dare I say it, I think they're not that bad!
I understand as a company Foxtons are very pushy, bordering on aggressive, but they do tend to get results. Their clients are the vendors not the buyers, as they pay the wages, and through what seems like employing huge numbers of agents, working 8.30am - 8.00pm they do get offers coming in.
I was with Winkworths, who had my property on the market for ages, and because they are a franchise they didn't share buyers between branches, i got very few viewings.
They are being blamed in the press for driving up house prices, contributing the property collapse, but i suppose it IS what we wanted wasnt it? more money for our properties????
Don't get me wrong, i have seen from other posts that people have been treated very badly, but i think if its the highest price for your house you're after instead of a reliable friendly company then Foxtons isnt such a bad choice.....
Im not holding my breath but I was wondering if anyone agreed?
