"Foxtons, the London estate agency whose fleet of liveried Minis were synonymous with the property boom, has breached its banking covenants and its UK private equity backer has ruled out a bailout of the business...." http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/money/property_and_mortgages/article5478477.ece

RIP OFF THE RICH

YER

trouble ahead???

Foxtons are late submitting their annual accounts to Companies House. I wonder why???

selling my house and not using an agent in oz.

in sydney we got 3 quotes for our house ,from 3 different agents.all said between $ 5-6m.my mother sold it to the first offer of $6.250.m..so what you say.well we did it without an agent.by verbally letting people know we were selling.we quickly got  an offer.and no agents fees of about $200,000.contracts are now complete and we have an 8 month period before she has to move.so time to find a nice house for my mother.without pressure from the agents to settle more quickly.so as they can get their commission.        from sean
