How sad are YOU? Are you that patriotic about your shabby franchise so called 'ex' company that you feel compelled to come here and defende them. Their customers should be defending them and I'm talking about applicants and landlorda and the majority of people that I've spoken to who have dealt and or worked in Foxtons have spoken to me about dodgy deals, illegal forgery of documents, lying about details of flats they clearly no nothing about - the list goes on!

Really, the amount of brainwashing in that place to it's employees is akin to Scientology - but what do you expect from a place that you see 15 hours a day, 6 days a week, struggling to hit unrealistic targets, convincing yourselves that all other agents are 'shit', cutting yourself off fron friends and family and driving around in the mini so everyone you pass on the street knows you're a twat. 

 

If you are thick enough to get fucked over by foxtons you deserve to be. I worked for them for a while and thier tactics are all but retarded.

Look in the papers today not so clever are they neither are you. thats why they probably employed you.

really... i have to agree with the person who stated that they used to work for Foxtons. I also worked there for four years.

 It is trully a sad place one needs to be at to spend time developing a hate website for a estate agent. Really. I agree with my x colleague, get out a little more, in all this financial misery why not try and take some pleasure in some more positive things rather than the demise of businesses.

 You are right, Foxtons is a amy, but they do it well. I was a school leaver and got taught the ropes, its not all unathodox, sure, the odd thing hear and there, however most importantly just a hard working ethos, more than its competitors, thats why they did so well.

It did wonders for me, really kickstarted my career, now i work for a hedge fund.... let me guess, you hate them too?

Don't believe everything you read in the papers, re-read all the negative reports recently and every article ends the same way. No bank is going to foreclose, Foxtons is the only estate agancy in the country that continues to be in profit. Promises made to financing bank two years ago about profit and growth predictions are never going to be met in the current market. All the papers are speculating about is the breaking of these promises and the ramifications thereof. None.

I have to say, respectfully, that I was mearly defending some of the individuals that work / ed for the company and that although on the whole I agree it is a rather bullish institution I think you should understand that for the people who work there, its a means to a end, usually, and certainly previously quite a profitable one.

 I should also remind you that not all people, maybe such as you, had access or the ability to straight A their exams and leave collage with a healthy trust fund (maybe this applys to you aswell) therefore had to make some tough decisions about there life.

 I think that many of these people in such a situation make a choice, a) work at Tesco's stacking shelves until im 60, retire to my council flat and live on a state pension. B) The more pro-active, self believers, that say "To hell with it, I know I can make myself financially successful" and go to somewhere like the big F!

 I realise also, that not everyone can be ethical, tree hugging, fair trade eating, hesian bag carrying wana-be humble'ites' like yourself and give a fair level of respect to people that go out and get what they want.

You show your lack of any idea when referring to a hedge fund being another money grabbing load of bullshit. Well, in some cases yes, they are. In mine, not so much, this 26 year old X Foxtons school leaver made a 35% ROI in the last 12 months.

And as for the 40 year old virgin comment.... the boying good looks, charm, penthouse in kensington and 1967 Porsche Carrera meant I avoided that.
