In your opinion was this release I got enough for them not to take me to court if I sell on my own

one week ago a buyer came to me and we are in contract now. My old real estate agent called and said foxtons went through bankrupcy court and sold listings to fillmore and I am still bind by the original contract and they will sue me.

This individual is one of the most reviled characters in modern commercial history. Beguiled you evidently were - or perhaps blindingly besotted. People like him obviously attract a similar type.
2.5% Standard commission charge and the Foxtons team are starting too crack... So many complaints ay.... Vendors going back to the LOCAL agents. Your staff should work in South Harrow not Pinner oh they do.
When Foxtons started in Pinner they had 184 listings. Yesterday they had 89, today they have 86 it is great to see that they have made no impact. .......(rest reomoved by mod - bad language).

My partner and I have been the victim of a scam by Foxtons and a dumb (or dummy?) landlord who got ripped off himself by their fees they already got sued over by the OFT. Funny enough, not only did the agent, Mr. Procter never provide a proper draft of a rental agreement in the first place (he did so, when I was considering renting another flat in a very prestigious location near Whitehall;-) but HE (not the landlord) was the only one who ever signed the whole agreement aside from him forcing my partner's signature right on the spot from her (the usual "it won't be there anymore schema) Nor did he ever bother to send the same draft to my office for review before asking for guarantees.The place dubbed "Marble Arch" only had one thing about Marble Arch, the fact a Arab Grocery on Edgeware Road is close to it...As she has Middle Eastern roots, they obviously thought her to be an easy pray and "match" for this environment. Which her modern Western education and upbringing did not fit in there. Nor with daily "Bazar" and dozens of families with hundreds of children making noise all day long (not to mention buses going 24/7 in front of the bedroom window)I am sure, the poor fellow (his name is "Shame", pretty matching for a Foxtons customer I believe;-) has only been a victim of Foxtons himself, but he should finally accept and understand, who caused him that. And not freak and spam tenants who he never even signed a rental agreement for in the first place(!) Any similar experiences?I'm sure, there are hundreds of those, not just on Edgeware Road...
The employees are given a list of leads to call through. They will call you if you've ever spoken with them previously or if you look like potential business.
The employees have to call around 150 people per day.
Take this issue up with the management, not the staff.
You people clearly have no idea of the meaning "business". Thats all it is. Not everyone at Foxtons is a crook or dishonest. Dont blame the Company not Brand, rather place it on an individual if you have issues. Get a life and grow some backbone!
I was struggling to sell my flat in Maida Vale. After being on the market months and several fall through they helped secure me a great buyer and assisted in the whole sale from start to finish. Finally I have completed and moved in with my gf and about to buy a great new place together. I KNOW It wouldnt have sold without their help and they were fantastic.
