It is funny that you state that the poster is ignorant, then go on say something wholly untrue. If you ACTUALLY knew anything about property laws you would know that an Assured Shorthold Tenancy (governed by the Housing Act - annual rents under £25,000) must be a minimum of 6 months, but if you sign a longer contract, ALL parties are commited to the full lenght of the contract unless a "break claues" is agreed by both parties. Tenancies over £480 per week are NOT governend by housing act and are even less restriced. GET YOUR FACTS BEFORE INSULTING PEOPLE - IT MAKES YOU LOOK IDIOTIC.
