I don't have a problem with

I don't have a problem with them trying to get the best price.  But for someone who is trying to buy, Foxtons has a bunch of properties in my area that are priced at  20% above the actual selling prices in the past few years - including the prices at the height of the market.  None of these houses are selling, none are moving at all...they refuse recognize that there is a housing crisis.  I'll give an example:  A house is on at £475000, which at the height of the market MAY have gone for £405000, but most likely £480000...and as it's definitely NOT the height of the market...they are not really helping their clients make good decisions about selling.  Personally there are a few properties I'd love - but I won't pay their prices.  So I'll go with an agency in the area wh ois much more realistic and who is actually selling houses.  I'm just glad that I'm not with them as a seller - I'd still be on the market with my flat, which sold months ago.
